The only video yearbook that I have is our Senior year one. It is worth watching again. By the way, thanks for posting those old pics! Wow, how time flies! Do you realize it's been 25 years since 6th grade????

A new feature has been added to our class web site: Classmates can now post comments under your personal Profile. I think this will be a lot of fun, and will encourage more communication on our web site.

This new feature is now live on the site but is turned off by default. If you would like to allow other Classmates to post comments under your Profile, please do the following:

1) Log into the site and click on Edit Profile.
2) Place a checkmark in the box next to the new "Classmate Comments" feature.
3) Save your Profile.

That's it -- you'll now have your own private discussion area on your Profile page. Have fun!

Margarita that's just mean. Sixth grade was just a few years ago wasn't it? There's no way I'm that old. I am enjoying the trip down memory lapse lane though. Thanks guys.

You guys...we're still young! =D

Hi Karen....my dad is retired and reads the paper everyday, including the obits. Plus, working in TPS, we usually get an email when someone passes or I hear it through the grapevine. I will try to post any info I might find out about, including retirements.

I think currently the only teacher at Disney that is still there is Mrs. Kmita (her name is not Kmita anymore..can't remember but her pic is on their website).

Every school has a website...you can go to www.tulsaschools.org and then click on the "parents" link at the top. Scroll down to "school websites" and select your school.

OMG...I do remember the fish eye...Jeff was crazy and always doing nutty things in the class.

I also remember Benson's A&M class. She was a hoot.....retired a few years back. I actually liked her classes. Remember her pre-test discussions where you could earn extra points for discussing? I only took one test senior year because of those discussions.

Ron..yes, how could I forget? I heard from him a few months ago through email.

Would you believe I still have all the notes (or should I say letters) that we used to write each other. It was like a competetion to write a longer note than the one before. How in the world did we ever come up with so much stuff to say?

I need to get copies of those from you Shelly! I'm jealous that you still have them. My ex-husband made me throw them away because we were starting a new chapter in life together...blah, blah, blah! I never should have listened to him as far as my memories go! Does anyone remember 20 questions or how about the sex test (like the one they did in Sixteeen Candles)?
Has anyone's "tweenies" gotten to do those in school? I've been noticing with my daughter, that the years may go by, but, some things just don't fade away!
By the way Lisa, talking in this forum is what makes me feel young! It seems like everyone I'm around is too young to remember anything that I can from the 80s or 90s for that matter!

Tracy you need to find someone who has some old Lewis and Clark yearbooks. I'll have to dig. There were several of us who had the fortune to attend there. LOL.

I just want you all to know that Ms. Benson's class was the shit. If you participated in her class discussions you could get away with almost anything. Loved that class.

I agree, Carmen....Mrs. Benson's class was quite entertaining!

Does anyone remember doing those "fortune teller" paper things? Also, the MASH thing....Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House.

The other day at school, my fifth grader and her friends were all doing those......geez did I feel old, but I instantly flashed back to elementary with the "disney crew". Also a favorite, Mad Libs...I remember a group of us doing "dirty" mad libs...ohh we were rebels!

Oh Jen Jen Jen... I think you need to dig around and find some pics to send on over to Tracy. What a laugh. I don't know even know what the hell I look like in any of those.. probably scary. But hey do it anyway!

Also I just want to say BREEDIDGE (Kim Breedlove)... oh those fond days of screwing off and making a muck of our lives.

jen

i can always give you access to scan pics onto the site...

Kim Breedlove Brown

Oh Carmen.....didn't we run amuck??

Wasn't it you who sat next to me in 10th grade english??...Mrs. Norma Davis, who I believe had large birds stored in her hair.

Anyway, we used to give Jake Payne a hard time because he was such a metal head, always wearing Megadeth shirts and anything else that might of been silk screened in Satan's Sweat Shop! Jake was pretty cool to put up with us. I think he couldn't believe that I would talk to him since he spent so much time in the "smoke hole".

12/31/08 01:02 PM #114

Carmen Gotcher DeTurk

Jake Payne - that is a blast from the past. That boy cracked me up. And I'm fairly sure you are right, Ms. Davis did have birds and other curious visitors in her hair. That's why I always stayed in check in her class...about the time I wanted to misbehave - I'm certain something peeked out of her hair at me. LOL. jk.

Happy New Years Eve Everyone!

01/15/09 03:54 PM #115

Jake Payne

I don't understand what you guys are talking about... Jake was a serious student and very serious about all aspects of learning and being the best student he possibly could =)

I don't think he even liked 'metal' music...

01/19/09 09:20 AM #116

Kim Breedlove Brown

Well Jake, I think I actually witnessed you and....was it Matt Tanner?? selling your souls to the devil while the class was presenting their book reports....or maybe I was just overcome by the giggling and the strange smoke smell coming off your clothing!!!!!HeHeHe

01/19/09 04:11 PM #117

Jake Payne

I sold my soul long before I met Matt =p

The only thing I really remember about Matt was that he used to put cigarettes out on his tongue... And you guys thought I was freaky.

As for the "strange smell" on my clothing I don't know what you're speaking of. I only hung out in the smoke hole because that's where all my metal head friends hung out =) Must've been like a contact smell or something.

I've still got L & C yearbooks. Somewhere I even have some from Kerr, if they haven't turned to dust by now.

Jake Payne - Hello Mane (That's ATL style) LOL. I'm glad to see you've dusted yourself and your bong off and risen from the dead. How the hell are you???

Breedidge - What ya been up to lately yourself?

Who knows where Gary C is these days? I used to get pretty tickled by him too. Kim?
